I am known as Death, but not the Reaper, or the Angel. I am simply known as Makaria. I am the Greek Goddess of Blessed Death and besides a few mentions you've likely never heard of me. That's alright, I'm used to it. In fact in some ways it's for the better if you've never heard of me or never met me. At least if you're a mortal. I take the souls of those that lead blessed lives and guide them down into the Underworld for judgement. If you pass judgement I lead you to the Isles of the Blessed where you will live for eternity in a heaven beyond any that you have ever imagined. If you are judged a different way you will continue on with someone else. Perhaps Thanatos.

Or you'll end up in a river, or worse. Far worse.

But that's not all there is to me! No, I love animals and children. I enjoy living in the Underworld with my family. My father is Hades and my mother is Persephone. They're wonderful really, when they're not you know on Olympus. I really do enjoy what I do because if I didn't do my job then souls would just wander or people wouldn't die and can you imagine the world if everyone didn't die eventually? It would be overpopulated and terrible. You don't want that.

Anyway, I am terribly busy at times, and this is one of them, so I must be off!
